Welcome

Welcome to the The 6BW Blog – home of everything magical and great.

There are some simple rules to follow whilst you’re on here, so read them first then enjoy. 8)

1: Remember it’s a blog (that’s weblog) a chance for you to leave your thoughts; comment on other people’s and enjoy the games, pictures and more. So no quick chats to your friends – that’s what MSN is for.

2: No posts after 8pm on a weekday, you should be tucked up in bed with a book or a fiendish Sudoku puzzle.

3: When you do post a comment, you will need to leave a username and your email (email won’t be shown). No last names please, first names or nicknames only – we need to keep your identities safe and secure.

4: Remember that I have to moderate every post before it goes live, so keep that appropriate and sensible.

Apart from that, happy posting. Enjoy the Blog icon biggrin Welcome

Old, old school

Great comments on our Old School page recently. Check this:

It is now 61 yrs since I attended your school and how vivid my memories are like most of you, the headmaster was Mr Rex,and Mr Warner was one of my teachers, one memory was that when school finished on a friday the local rag and bone man would be outside the gates with ballons to exchange for different things, we would play at shop keepers in the school shop, we had cardboard money and a till and various packets of products that you would buy in the local CO-OP. there was also a sand pit to play in. games were the same as today.these memories stay with you for life, one strange fact is when you finally finish your school days you very rarely see any of your school chums again, over the years I have only ever met one. most of the rest are scattered across the Globe from Australia to the Americas.
all you guys and girls make the most of your school days as they do not last long. good luck to you all in what you do.and never forget Shelton lock junior school.

It would be quite sentimental for me to attend one day in the near future, and I would very much like to be able to do so, perhaps some one who has the position to plan for such an event would be kind enough to make an initial contact via my email address so it can be arranged.
best regards Keith Parks
